Your parents have just discovered you’e a mutant. Being in a small southern town, that was a terrifying thing to happen.. You walk along the outskirts of the town, knowing what’s waiting for you at home will more than likely be a good smack and endless yelling, but it’s not like you could control that. The summer sun is beginning to fall behind the hills, though the heat is still as potent as ever. Actually, the heat waves seem to be distorting the horizon much more intensely than they were seconds ago – oh no.. It’s not the heat that’s causing it anymore. The fire from the sentinel’s jets becomes visible as it breaches the horizon line, making a beeline towards you. Did your parents snitch?? You try to run and duck for cover, but out in the open like this, it was just highway and fields for at least a mile!
