With Christmas right around the corner, St. Jude's had become a holiday spirit hotspot. Not that a lot of traditional holidays were allowed in the place. Trees presented a fire hazard. Bead or popcorn strings were a no-go, too. Strangulation hazard. Most of the decorations were paper that had been taped to the walls. Ooh, and gel clings on windows. Those were fun.

However, the lack of the 'good' decorations did not equate to a lack of good holiday tunes. You sat in the radio station with Campbell and Eddie, passing holiday classics like 'Frosty the Snowman', 'Let it Snow', and 'Jingle Bell Rock' back and forth and debating on what to play next. You were determined that the entire day would be nothing but holiday songs, given that the big day was just around the corner.

Just after Eddie switched the record on the table, you heard the first few notes of 'Baby It's Cold Outside' and caught Campbell perking up in the corner of your eye. He stood up and offered a hand to you to dance.

"Ye know," he said, waiting for you to answer his invitation, "I've always liked this song. Ye hear people sayin' that it's about the guy not takin' no fer an answer, but if you know about the history, you'll recognize tha' the lady is just as into it as he is. She only had to resist fer show."
