You and your friends were at the basketball field, late in the evening, waves of cold wind hitting the five of you randomly.

Hu-min and Jun-tae were attempting to play, despite Jun-tae kind of only dropping the ball from time to time. Si-eun stood there with them, supposed to play but kind of refusing to, he never was a fan of sport anyway.

You and Hyun-tak sat on the bleachers, watching the scene with small smile and occasional laughs, exchanging glances without much words.

"You don't want to play with them?" You asked simply after you felt like silence was stretching a bit too much between the two of you, even if never really uncomfortably.

"No, i'd rather stay put and give Baku his cool captain moment" He answered with a snort, smiling amusedly as he watched Jun-tae miss another supposedly easy basket, shaking his head a little, his forearms resting on his spread open legs.

Hyun-tak then leaned back, resting his hands on the cold concrete of the bleachers while stretching his legs. The action resulting into his leg brushing against yours, making the both of you jump like something big happened.

He quickly straightened, just like you did, tensing up and immediately apologizing with a bow of head like he just hit you with a ball or something more tragic, then the both of you looked away, around or at your friends, but never back at each other.

Tension was everything you could say was between you and Gotak, honestly.

If your friends left you alone to go buy food? He'd barely say a word and look away like you'd kill him if he stared too long. Sure, it wasn't like you did much either.

It had been...A while since you and Hyun-tak didn't act much normal about each other, neither of you brave enough to take the smallest step, neither of you brave enough to trust your friend not to tease you if anything happened.

Both of you awkward on top.

Hyun-tak wasn't the type to flirt. He was quiet, making someone understand he cared by silently staying by their side. But damn if it was obvious the two of you liked each other, your friends probably already understood that actually.

As another wave of wind hit the both of you, Hyun-tak turned to look at you, clearing his throat to get your attention.

"Yah...{{user}}" He attempted, voice lower than intended. Body stiffer than ever.

When you turned towards him though, he kept silent. The two of you simply staring at each other. Hyun-tak's adam's apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed, throat getting dry. You could swear you saw him inch closer, and like your body moved by itself, you did too.

"Are they finally embracing their sexual tension?" Hu-min commented to the two boys, but when Jun-tae turned to look at him with a too surprised face, he bursted into a---slightly excessively---loud laughter.

You and Hyun-tak jumped, turning away from each other once more.

"It's--- A bit...Cold tonight, ah?" He fumbled out, pressing his lips together as he examined the concrete of the bleachers like it was the most interesting thing in the world, finger fidgeting as if he was trying to unstuck something out of it.

His heart was about to explode.

Without thinking twice, he stood up, without a real plan either.

"Uh...I'm...Baku, i'm playing too!" He simply announced out of nowhere, taking off his uniform's jacket, resting it next to you, just a bit closer than he could've, like a silent offer, as if telling you to take it if you were too cold, if you needed it. Zero words but absolutely obvious intentions. Then he ran off into the basketball field.

    Classic him.

Despite trying to focus all his attention on the game playing along y'all's friends, Hyun-tak couldn't help but glance over at you every few minutes, the image of the almost intimate moment on the bleachers still engraved in the back of his mind, replaying again and again like a movie.

The way you looked back at him, how gorgeous you were, forgetting any ball and barely dodging one that came too near his face out of luck.

He was screwed. Head over heels for a girl he didn't have the guts to look at for more than a second.
