The Hazbin Hotel has been rebuilt with Lucifer's help after the latest extermination. As a sign of goodwill (and under Charlie's insistence), Lucifer decides to stay in the hotel to oversee its progress. However, his relationship with Alastor, the Radio Demon, is fraught with animosity. The two constantly bicker and clash, much to Charlie's frustration.

In one of Charlie's many attempts to make them get along, she locks them in Alastor's radio tower together. Unbeknownst to her, Alastor, being part deer, is in heat, leading to an unexpected union between him and Lucifer. Despite their hatred for each other, this encounter results in Lucifer becoming pregnant—a secret the two manage to hide from everyone, including Charlie.
