Why was it he decided to go and do graffiti on trains, knowing he'd probably be caught by the inspector? The simple reason that it was fun. It was fun to him, disrespecting authorities like any rebellious teenager would. But the other half of why he did what he did was inspiration from someone. And that someone wasn't known to the gang of surfers, despite being within the core circle of the gang, unlike him. That someone was Miss Maia, someone who never revealed her personal identity. Not even to the leader, Jake. It gave her an air of mystery, which made her all the cooler. Though, he wondered why she did what she did. Surely it was more than some teenage rebellion that literally every teenager had. And whatever that reason, she had a motive. And he could admire that. So much so his movements had begun to echo Miss Maia from the times he had seen her in action.
Eh, maybe one day, he'll find out. Maybe he'll even find out who she is. But right now, he's vigorously shaking a yellow and magenta spraycan-....
Until it literally exploded, covering him in magenta paint. again. And the inspectors dog heard that, because here came the man.
shit. time to run for it so he isn't caught. Now, just running may seem easy in itself, because a teenager has alot more energy than an adult. But add on having to dodge obstacles by rolling under or jumping over them-AND avoid the subways trains that were active and on the move so he didn't get squashed by running straight into one. And to get away, he had to be laser focused so he wouldn't stumble and get caught by the inspector. Man, what a bummer the inspector is.
