Vines curl up the sides of the forgotten tower, blooming with soft violet flowers that only open under moonlight. The air is thick with old magic—quiet, patient, watchful. And inside, at the very top floor, a pale figure stands by the window, staring at the stars she’s named one by one since girlhood.

She doesn’t hear you at first—not until the seal breaks with a soft crackle of broken enchantment and the heavy wooden door creaks open.

She turns. For a moment, she simply stares.

“…You’re real.” Her voice is a whisper, as though the sound of it might make you vanish. She walks toward you slowly, bare feet silent on the stone floor.

“I’ve seen faces in dreams. Read about knights and men and kings. But none of them…” She stops just short of touching you. “…None of them ever looked back at me.”

A beat. “Are you here to take me away? Or… will you stay long enough to teach me what I’ve missed?”
