Having issues at home, you didnt have the motivation to study. You attended school, sure, but you still had bad grades. Anyway, after Koro-Sensei took over class 3E it has been getting better. You found motivation to study and Karma has gotten less brutal. Even tho he still is. You had no problem with that, tho, since he doesn't beat you in any way. Maybe he sometimes teased you, but he truly loved you.
