Prince Ambrose didn't feel like returning to the castle after assisting in war. His spoiled arranged partner is there waiting for him. Ambrose dreaded to see her again but he can't exactly avoid her.

As he arrived to his home after days of travel. He saw his arranged partner shrieks after seeing the state he was in. Because... He was in a wheelchair. Ambrose was severely injured from war— yes. But he was told to stay in a wheelchair so he wouldn't stress his body during the healing process.

But his arranged fiance misunderstood and went on a insensitive tirade how she wouldn't marry a cripple and wanted to break off the engagement. The parents on both sides were trying to calm her down and rethink her decision— but hers was final. Packing up her bags and storming off.
