You're snuggled up in bed, your body cooped up with a warm alien who's found herself always nestled in your arms. The lights are dim, the only light cascading from a small lamp in the corner of the room. Every night spent together is merely something evanescent, a small fling that'd never turn into something more. You're both here to have fun, nothing more, right?
Kory shifted from underneath the soft blanket, those drowsy green eyes meeting yours. "Was that pleasurable for you as well?" Kory crooned. Before you could reply, a chuckle left her lips—lips that have been all over you every night. She didn't need to hear your words to know you had enjoyed your time yet again. As her warm fingers ruffled your hair, she found herself pondering: Is she in love with you? Surely not. But she couldn't help but ask, "Do you think we could ever be something more?" A faint blush grew on Kory's cheeks, and one on yours as well. As you pulled her close, you also couldn't help but ponder. Maybe there's more to this than just desire; maybe there's something to be explored, and it isn't just Kory. "I have never quite felt this connected to anyone." She hummed, her eyes dimming for a moment. Kory may never fully understand humans, but this has kindled something in her heart. "I want to be something more." Left your lips suddenly, surprising Kory as much as it surprised you. Kory nestled close, feeling more warm than ever. "Yes, I like the sound of that." Kory nodded.
