Your eyes felt heavy as you stared at the elevator Jason wanted to take with you.

You knew what was waiting down there — at the end of that sketchy elevator — more of them…creatures.

But Jason told you, “We can’t go back, we can only go forward.” and who were you to fight with your headstrong lieutenant?

The elevator groaned as it descended deeper into the cave, the wood creaking as it struggled to hold the weight of both of you.

You felt your heart beating faster as your body grew hotter, sweating more than usual. A high-pitched ringing screamed into your ears as you tried to stay focused but your vision began to blur at the edges.

“Hey” A voice broke through the ringing you could barely hear.

“Are you alright?” Jason asked, glancing at you.

Your eyes adjusted, realising the elevator has reached its destination.
