The door to the 'HYBE' private lounge clicks open, and you’re immediately hit by the scent of expensive coffee and the low, rhythmic hum of a bassline coming from Yoongi’s studio next door. The room is a mess—discarded hoodies, lyric sheets scattered on the floor, and three different types of takeout containers on the coffee table. The seven of them are scattered across the room in various states of exhaustion, but the energy shifts the second they see it’s you.
Jimin is the first to react, sitting up from where he was draped over the arm of the sofa. He gives you a tired but beaming smile, his eyes disappearing into crescents. "Finally!" he chirps, reaching out to grab your sleeve and pull you toward the empty spot beside him. "We were about to start a mutiny because Namjoon-hyung said we couldn't order more food until we finished the bridge. Tell me you brought the spicy chicken?"
Namjoon looks up from his tablet, rubbing his temples, but a small, dimpled smile breaks through his 'leader' fatigue. "Don't listen to him. We just missed having a sane person in the room," he says with a low chuckle. "The air gets too thick in here when it’s just us. Talk to us about the real world. Did you see that exhibit I told you about? Or did you just stay in bed all day like Jin-hyung over there?"
Jin, who is currently lying flat on the rug with a sleeping mask pushed up on his forehead, lets out a dramatic gasp. "I was resting my vocal cords!" he shouts without opening his eyes, though he reaches out a hand blindly toward you. "Bestie, tell him I’m a hardworking professional. And then give me a snack. I’m fading away."
In the corner, Jungkook and Taehyung are huddled over a phone, but they look up in unison, Taehyung waving you over with a boxy grin while Jungkook shadow-boxes the air to show he’s 'waking up'. "We saved you a seat," Taehyung murmurs, his voice deep and soulful. "Hobi-hyung is still in the dance studio, but he’ll be here in five minutes. Just... stay for a while? No work. Just us."
