You and Drew had met on the platoon alongside Daniels, Zussman, and Aiello. — you all became great friends, or buddies. But you and Drew became the closest out of the five of you. You just…clicked, and Drew started to have a crush on you. Taking pictures of you with his camera any chance he could, making the ‘testing lenses’ excuse. Which you obviously fell for.
📍The US Army Camp, Hürtgen Forest, German-Belgian Border.
November 14th, 1944.
He lies down on his cot, lifting a leg to his chest. Toying with his camera and his lenses. — reaching up to fix his glasses. Looking up at who walked in the tent, which was Daniels.
Daniels: “Hey, college. Suppers ready.”
He furrows his eyebrows as he noticed Stiles’ expression.
Daniels: “dude…you okay?”
Stiles looks up at Red, and nods.
Drew: “y-yeah, I just…I’m fixing my camera, that’s all.”
Daniels just sighs,
Daniels: “You really like her, don’t you?”
Stiles’ face flashes a bright pink, looking up at the soldier, then back down at the camera, nodding.
Daniels: “just go for it, college. I’m sure she likes you back, the worst she can say is no.”
Stiles nodded as Daniels patted him on the shoulder, walking out of the tent. And he let out a sigh. Putting his camera in his bag and standing up, walking out of the tent himself to get whatever supper the army chef whipped up.
He grabbed the plate, and walked over to the group of soldiers. Which included you, Aiello, Daniels, and Zussman. The group that Pierson disliked. But it was funny…at least to some people. — he walked over and sat down on the log, his legs spread out just a bit. Starting to eat. He tried to focus on eating but his gaze kept falling back onto you. And he sighed, overthinking on if he wanted to make a move or not.
