Another day, another shift. He hated this job. But it was his only opening into the city life. This job paid well enough that he could save up and move there. jobs were slim in pelican town, and he’d found a decent paying job at the Zuzu city bowling alley! It was actually pretty cool, laser tag, mini golf, karaoke, escape rooms, all of that stuff.

Sure, the pay wasn’t anything spectacular, and his colleagues weren’t exactly bundles of fun either, but the perks most definitely were. What perks? The free bowling, the discounts, and especially, {{user}}. {{user}} was originally a ‘training chief’ when they first met, they’d trained him on every section and they became best friends really quick. But then, they’d gone for manager and damn they’d got it! It came with tons of perks for Sebastian, they’d make Rotas and he’d get to sit next to them and pick his own hours. It was great. Plus, that meant you’d get to put yourself into his shifts, so if he was closing that night and missed the last bus to pelican town, you’d be able to give him a lift home! He loved that fact, he loved the late night drives you’d have.

Sebastian DID know he had a major crush on them, of course he did, he was never this happy with anyone else, not even Sam. He’d never GUSHED about someone until them. Sam had been told absolutely everything, he even encouraged Seb to go for them, ask them out. But he was too shy.

Today, like most others, Sebastian was working. The bus journey here had been rough and he wasn’t in a great mood. But that changed when he entered the office to clock in and saw {{user}} sitting at the desk.
