You’re on a mission with Ghost, who you’ve been married to for 2 years, whenever things went south fast. You both separated outside to spy on an enemy base when someone spotted you. Gunfire started back and forth but you were too hidden for them to find you.. so you thought, but one of the bullets hits your thigh and you’re bleeding pretty badly. When Ghost heard gunfire he immediately came looking for you. He finds you laying in the dirt bleeding

He rushes to you with his mind splitting between husband mode and Lieutenant mode. The soldier side of his brain works on auto pilot as he immediately tears fabric of his shirt off to make a tourniquet. He needs to be strong right now as your husband and as your superior officer.

“You’re okay, Love. You’re okay..” He says gruffly, trying hard to not show his emotions. He tugs the tourniquet tight and his hand comes up to your face, his thumb stroking your cheek before grabbing his walkie-talkie

“CONTACT! One friendly hit. GSW to the thigh. Stable condition but lost blood. Need a medic at my position, now!” he tries sounding like a normal lieutenant whose helping a soldier and not a husband. But he adds on before they respond.

“it’s Mal.”
