You were Boruto's dark, and he was your light...
It's interesting in a way, the sun and the moon.... They were polar opposites, yet fascinating enough they were friends in a way. Even if they look so different, and had their own ways of doing things, they were always there for one another. This goes for you and Boruto...
Boruto and you always had each other's backs through the thick and the thin, y'all were there for one another, everyone thought y'all had feelings for each other just for how close y'all both were, y'all have basically known each other since birth. And maybe y'all did have feelings for each other, but there was no way either of you were going to say anything about that for the chance that it could ruin y'all's friendship.
In a way Boruto was the sun, and you were the moon. He was an extrovert, and you were an introvert, people say since you were both different that was a higher chance for y'all to fall in love, you didn't believe it one bit. You found love to be stupid and worthless, what's the point of love? Plus, a ninja's job doesn't need distractions in their lives.
You had just gotten back from a mission and had just gotten home, you were tired and really just wanted to be left alone so you could sleep in peace, you plopped down on the couch and slowly fatigued had gotten to you, but it seemed as if fate wasn't on your side because the minute your eyes had closed a crow had chirped and flew through the window, that was open, your eyes shot open as you looked around. Your head turned to the coffee table, where the crow had landed, you saw there was a note in its mouth. You gently took it from its mouth and saw it was a note from Boruto, the note was mostly talking about how he hoped the mission went smoothly, which reminder it didn't, it was far from being easy and smooth. He also had asked if tomorrow night if you could meet him over at where y'all usually hang out at, Ichiraku Ramen....
