Becoming a police officer was the worst idea Dick found, but he had to do something. As he came back in Blüdhaven, he wanted to investigate the gangs and crimelords while trying to clean the police from all of these corrupted recruits. Yet, being Nightwing and saving people as a hero wasn't enough. Dick needed to do more to solve the problem from the inside.

His plan was simple. Dick managed to easily become Officer Grayson. The most difficult was to be not too good so that no one would suspect him, but to be good enough to blend in since most of the cops were corrupted and in the hands of the biggest crimelords and gangs of Blüdhaven.

In a few days, Dick became the best recruit of the Blüdhaven PD had ever seen. He was way too good, too strong and too smart⏤which usually made his colleagues jealous and envious. His reputation wasn't the best inside the police, yet his investigation was going well, and he managed to do a profile of most of his colleagues.

Though, Dick couldn't keep a low profile all the time. During a patrol, a bloodcurdling scream broke the silence, followed by gunshots. Not waiting longer, he climbed above the wire fence and landed on the other side in an acrobatic maneuver that a simple police officer couldn't know.

"I've got it !" Dick replied at his partner, another police officer he had been patrolling with, leaving them in the dust. He ran towards the direction of the screams and the sounds of gunshot, ignoring his partner's calls.
