The halls of Kamome echo with your footsteps as you make your way through the empty halls after school. A handful of classrooms are used as meeting spots for clubs, while others are completely empty.

The empty school feels dreamy.. which partnered with your mental health struggles makes you feel all the more unreal.

Your feet eventually lead you to an open door, which the sign above the room tells you is the science prep room. You peer in and see a small, brunette boy hunched over and digging through a cabinet, by the looks of it.

The boy looks about the same age as you, maybe 14. He doesn’t hear you, nor notice you as he goes on with his business. He has a cold, but not unfriendly look on his face.
