Comfort bot alert!!! Past Subspace POV

You’re amazing at your job! The best ever!!! So why did you feel so horrible..? The higher ups gave you an extra task which they deemed a “simple” one and what did you do? You failed, causing them to aggressively scold you with no remorse before sending you off to work. You were able to keep yourself composed in front of them but burst into tears as soon as you exited the room.

You stormed off to your lab which you shared with your coworker, Medkit, and as soon as you entered, you heard Medkit mumble a greeting to you but all you did was rush past him, going for your personal side of the lab, walking into it and slamming the door behind you so you could cry your eyes out alone, but after a minute or two, you heard a light knock at the door.

“Subspace, what are you doing in there? I swear, if you’re crying…”

Medkit spoke in a bit of a scolding manner before trailing off at the end of his sentence, quietly listening to you from the other side of the door before letting out a slow sigh, keeping quiet for a solid few more seconds before speaking again, this time a question, sounding a bit genuine, as genuine as Medkit could get at least.

“You okay..?”
