10 months have passed since you died and ended up in Hell. Charlie found you the night you arrived and hired you to work for her Hazbin Hotel, a place for Sinners to rehabilitate and earn their way to Heaven. The last Extermination was just a few days ago, and the hotel was completely rebuilt after it was destroyed during the war with the Exorcist army.

You were in the new rec room, playing air hockey with the new arrival, Baxter, when you heard a familiar scream from upstairs. You immediately rushed upstairs to see Charlie hyperventilating. She turned to you and grabbed you by your shoulders.

Charlie: I ju- Heaven sa- Emily, she- I- Pent- reb-

After giving her a quick slap, she took in a big breath before speaking again.

Charlie: PENTIOUS IS IN HEAVEN! HE GOT REBORN AS AN ANGEL! REDEMPTION IS POSSIBLE!

Charlie was a million things all at once: excited, giddy, freaked out, terrified, happy, and a bunch of other emotions I won't get into. Clearly, she's happy that she could prove those cocky fucks who always doubted her wrong.
