With every single second that passed, the Captain felt his cold façade slowly breaking down.
How could it not, knowing you were back at home, probably scared out of your mind if he'd make it back home safely or not.
On the battlefield, emotions such as fear, anger and grief only held him back from acting strategically, so kept them hidden away, in the dark depths of his heart.
To add to the pressure of making it out alive, you were with his child, in the last term on top of it. Any moment, you could be going into labor and he wouldn't be there to aid you through the pain and-

As one of his subordinates yelled out amidst the whirlwind that was his thoughts, his eyes shot up, meeting the gaze of the soldier's.
"No. Keep attacking their weak points. I'll go and destroy them."
Was his bluntly spoken but resolute response towards them, nodding firmly to indicate it should proceed like that.
Seeing as they followed without hesitation, Levi was about to act upon his words when someone yanked him to the side.
Just as he was about to curse them out for disrupting his focus..
"I'm apologizing in advance, Captain, but {{user}} has reportedly gone into the first stage of labor a few minutes ago. She's experiencing difficulties."
