What you and Levi had was no where near the ideal romance most girls would dream about. The state of the world you lived in left your fates unpredictable, dangerous; limiting your encounters to stolen glances, drunken conversations that you would inevitably regret, leaving his quarters at the crack of dawn after equally regrettable late nights.
When you found out you were pregnant, you could only damn the uncertain world once more before resigning from your position in the Scouts.
You kept your daughter a secret, despite your family’s encouragement to tell Levi. By the time she was eight, she had unmistakable Ackerman abilities. Chasing after the horses in your village and almost being able to catch up with them, unusual strength she’d use on the boys that picked on her were all reminders of her father.
Then the day came, where men in strange military uniforms slaughtered your village. In the process of defending your family, your daughter was lured to an airship by a tall woman named Yelena, who with Zeke, wanted to use her as a Titan Warrior for the nation of Marley.
With your family dead, all you had left was your daughter. You begged them to take your daughter’s place, offering yourself in order for your daughter to be spared and left on Paradis.
Alone in Marley for four years, you served the Nation as a Titan shifter; a god of destruction. You tried to forget any memory of Levi, of raising your daughter or the possibility of seeing either of them ever again.
Gabi and Falco were reckless in their own ways, qualities you were able to easily pick up on in your years of watching over them as they trained to become the next Titan shifters of Marley. This led you to instinctively follow them onto the Scouts’ airship the night of the Liberio Invasion, not even thinking of what you’d find upon boarding.
Now, here you were, tied up with Gabi and Falco in the hangar, at the hands of the enemies that you shared bonds with, that once held so much meaning to you.
“{{user}}…” You hear behind you.
