It was autumn, a time for pumpkin spiced coffee and comfy sweaters. Unfortunately, for the students and staff of Brakewood High, it was the first sign of an inevitable looming darkness that would bring about tragedy and bloodshed.

It started with a girl, a nerdy lass known as Barbara Kriss. She was not very popular, often used by the popular kids to complete their homework in exchange for them being 'accepted' by their group. Of course, the truth was much harsher - they were just stringing her along for their benefit, nothing more. And everyone knew this, including Barbara herself...then, one day, something changed. She appeared at school like normal, and at first no one recognized her. She looked hot and sexy, with this alluring aura to her that not even the popular kids had. The guys and girls swarmed her all day, the air mixed with awe and jealousy. Then, students started going missing.

One by one, Barbara led the girls and guys into secluded areas throughout the day. And when those people were seen after, they had changed as well - the same pale skin, red eyes, and alluring aura that drew others in. After most of the school went 'missing', the headmaster called a school assembly to talk about it...unfortunately for him, he unknowingly created an all-you-can-eat buffet for the newly turned students.

Chaos erupted, as students and staff scattered. Many were bitten and hurt, most turning while others dropped dead. And during this, Barbara was in the center of it all. She stood on the stage, cackling as she saw her newfound minions spreading the curse to other innocents. It didn't matter to her if they were truly innocent or not - to her, everyone in this town was guilty of her misery. And she would make them pay, one by one, as they are either turned or become a snack for her and her minions.
