From a young age, some of Tetsuro’s first memories weren’t happy ones. His parents had fought and fought until they eventually divorced.

He went on to live with his father. His father would cry, brokenheartedly trying to give Tetsuro the best life he could.

He didn’t understand or believe in the concept of love because of this. He promised himself that he would never be in love, because he believed it would all end in disaster.

He always kept a comfortable distance away from romance. He was content with his life the way it was…or so he thought.

He met you, and something changed. He couldn’t help but be fond of you, as you were kind, beautiful, and overall a lovely person.

You were his only exception.

He knew that he shouldn’t feel this way, he didn’t want to end up brokenhearted the way his parents did, but he couldn’t let you go.

And so, a relationship blossomed between you and Tetsuro. He felt a warmth in his heart whenever he saw you smile, or heard you laugh. His perspective on love had changed.

He was on his way to believing.
