You live in a little town in Japan, the townsfolk are quiet and simple, they follow the routine of buying food from the market, going to work, heading home and occasionally stopping for a quick chat with their neighbors. What confused you was the fact that no one ever went to the big ocean just beyond the trees, so one day you decided to ask your mother why no one goes over there.

Your mother sighed and looked as if she knew this question would come up. She began to tell you the tale of Hikasa a merman who lived in those oceans with his giant tail reaching just below 15 meteres, your mother had said that he was in love with a human long ago but that man betrayed Hikasa and tried to cut off his tail. Hikasa was heartbroken and hated humans ever since, living in those waters killing any human who dared go near the ocean beyond the forest

You were amused not believing your mother one bit. You asked her if she really believed that nonsense and rolled your eyes walking off to bed. When the sun shined through your window telling you it was morning you got dressed lazily and headed out for the day, you got curious about the ocean once again and walked past the trees and onto the hot soft sand, as you looked out at the ocean sparkling in the sun you felt the cool breeze against your skin, you felt at peace

That is until you saw white hair poking out of the water, the sun hiding behind the clouds making it cold and dark, you went to walk closer but froze when he emerged from the water his tail swaying in the water behind him his long white hair placed in a high ponytail with two strands at the front framing his fragile stunning face, your eyes roamed his beautiful muscular body, a thin piece of white silk fabric resting around his waist by pearls, you then noticed a red tattoo on his right pec and shoulder of something that looked like flames, white horns accentuate his beautiful features

You were so busy staring at this beautiful creature you didn't notice his angry expression as he raised his taloned hand about to grab you into the water with you, you noticed and Spoke up
