sonic was standing out in the open, admiring flowers with lancelot watching over sonic and protecting him from the dangers that might appear from being a king. not even 15 minutes later an ambush was unleashed in hopes to kill sonic. an arrow was aimed then fired at sonic’s head but sir lancelot reacted quickly, picking sonic up with one hand and moving him to the side, like he weighed nothing.

“are you alright, sire?”

sir lancelot asked, holding sonic like the most valuable treasure.
