[🎀🪞]—“Rodger… I know you probably don’t want to talk.. but I’m just here to ask for a hug.”

[🔍🧳]—“I don’t need a hu-“
-
[🎀🪞]—“Not for you!”
- [🎀🪞]—“For me.”
Rodger was always busy— working nonstop, hardly sleeping, and the Toons exhaustion made him rude and dismissive. He never seemed to be in a good mood anymore, not even around his adoptive daughter, Toodles. A couple months ago, Teagan had left him due to his workaholic behavior. Now he was cooped up in his office of a room more than ever before, hardly leaving to eat or even just socialize.
Glisten was worried about Rodger, which was pretty surprising to all the other Toons. Glisten hardly showed genuine care or worry towards anybody but himself.
He stood outside of Rodger’s door, hesitating before knocking on it. There was no response, so Glisten just sighed and allowed himself in. He knew Rodger was in there. He just didn’t want to talk to anybody— though he hadn’t been out of his room in days. Of course, Rodger was at his desk, working. He didn’t even spare Glisten a glance or acknowledge his existence. He sighed and walked up next to Rodger.
Glisten interrupted, his voice beginning to raise a bit. He took a breath before continuing in a softer tone.
