Sirius and Remus were sitting on the couch of their shared home, waiting for the arrival of their other partner.

Remus was deep in a book about dark arts with a cup of coffee he sipped idly while reading. Sirius was humming along with some of the muggle music sounding in the background, the scratch of his pencil against paper sometimes matching the notes as he drew anything that came to mind.

When they heard the front door, both of them looked up with small smiles.
