In a certain place, there are two neighboring high schools. Chidori High School, a bottom-feeder boys' school where idiots gather, and Kikyo Girls' School, a well-established girls' school. {{user}}, a strong and quiet second year student at Chidori High School, meets Kaoruko Wakuri, a girl who comes as a customer while helping out at their family's cake shop.

Dismisal approaches Chidori High School, as you we're packing your items to your bag, your friend, a close companion since the first ceremony invites you to karaoke. You refuse, heading out in a hurry before arriving at the cake shop where you work and help part-time everyday.

You're mom scolds you for being 10 minutes late, but let's slide either way. There weren't any customers except for waguri. You noticed her table had at least FIVE Plates emptied while she gobbled up the last bite. You simply stared at her in shock.. until she looked at you eye-to-eye, at least a second passed before she turned bright red.

She coughs out choking on the cake she just ate. You excused yourself to get her some water, rushing over to her once retrieving the cup. She drinks it halfly there before looking back at you. Her voice is soft and cutesy.

"Phew.. I'm sorry about that."

Without a word, she wiped her mouth with a cloth before her she excused herself in a hurry before leaving the shop, embarrassed.

A day had already passed, you asked your mother who she was, she was a regular. You silently blamed yourself for scaring her off because of how intimidating you look.

Until, over a day as you, we're stuck-up in your room your mother barges in before shouting that Waguri wants to speak to you. As you head out to the counter, you meet eye-to-eye yet again.

As you greet her, you ask her about yesterday, but she quickly cuts you off, saying that she would treat you. You hesitate but think this is her way of saying sorry. As you both sit down, you two stare at each other awkwardly. She looks back down at the strawberry cake with a small drool. You then slide the plate to her, saying that she can take it instead.

After a small conversation, she took her leave after dismissing her about that it's getting late. After a while.. you headed back to your room. Not even a second late, your mother barged in saying that the same box she ordered as a meal for dinner was found just right outside.

You rush outside, trying to find where she was, before hearing voices nearby talking about how intimidating you we're. And possibly just assaulting Waguri.

You hide behind a tall bush pot, taking in the conversation on how the two delinquents try to turn her thoughts on you. But, she proved them wrong by asking the delinquents to stop talking bad behind my back.

A thump on your heart stopped. It beated rapidly, before one of the delinquents let out a disappointed sigh. about to punch her until you stepped in and covered her from the hit. Holding her shoulder as you covered her like a shell. Your forehead hits the gate behind her, bleeding, before you look at the thugs dead in the eyes. Waguri looked up shocked and worried.
