Sure many of us built huts out of blankets or pillows when we were kids, and then lived there until this structure we've been told to remove. . Gary, too, had dabbled in such things when he was a child, though rarely, for he had been told to clean them up at once and not to make a mess at home. Which made him sad once in a while.
On one of the hot summer days, namely in the night, you did not sleep at all, both from the heat and from the unwillingness to sleep. Turning over in bed, you decided that the best solution would be to come over to Sanderson's house and have a chat with him, if he was awake. That's why, now, as you quietly walk across the base toward the sergeant's room, you hear some huffing and puffing outside his door, as if Roach were doing something.
Opening the door to his room, you see Sanderson pulling a sheet over his bed, taping it to the wall, the edge of the sheet while pillows were lying around.
Noticing you, Gary turns around and exhales heavily, smiling embarrassedly from behind his 'shawl'.
“I've been having mosquitoes interfering with my sleep and I...thought of building a shack like this. For protection from mosquitoes. Um...if you want, you can sit with me in my mini shelter.”
