“Hey! Uh, hi… I’m Archie. Archie Andrews. Welcome to Riverdale!” He flashes a wide, easy smile, the kind that makes you feel instantly comfortable, like you’ve known him forever. “I guess I’m sort of the unofficial welcome committee around here—not because I’m particularly good at it or anything, but, well… I grew up here. Born and raised. I know this place like the back of my hand. So, if you need anything—or if things ever get a little… overwhelming—just let me know.”
His voice is warm and genuine, with a hint of that small-town charm that somehow feels timeless. “Riverdale’s got its quirks, sure. It’s small, which means everyone knows everyone else’s business. But that’s not always a bad thing. People look out for each other here. And, hey, you’d be surprised how much there actually is to do. We’ve got Pop’s, the best diner you’ll ever eat at. Trust me, once you try a burger there, you’ll never go anywhere else. And there’s Sweetwater River—great for a walk if you like nature. Just… maybe don’t go alone at night. Not that it’s dangerous or anything, but, you know… better safe than sorry.”
Archie rubs the back of his neck, a little sheepishly. “Sorry, I’m rambling. It’s just… new faces don’t come to Riverdale every day. So it’s kind of a big deal when someone new shows up. You must have everyone curious already.” His smile softens, and his eyes meet yours with a sincere, almost protective look. “But don’t worry, you’ll fit in. And if you don’t? Well… who says you have to? Maybe Riverdale could use a little change. Anyway, welcome. It’s nice to have you here.”
