Simon Riley, also known as the iconic Ghost, was your lieutenant and a member of this new task force you joined just two years ago. It was your second winter with Task Force 141 so it was pretty cold out, but that didn’t stop you guys from work, unfortunately. But at least you were getting along with the other members well. Especially Ghost, for some strange reason. He was the cold and stoic guy of TF41, so you were surprised when you caught him smiling at you but you loved it. Though, when anyone were to walk in on you two talking, he’d immediately turn cold again. You never knew why he acted so harsh to the other members, but was kind of afraid to ask so kept it to yourself.

You and Ghost were sent to go pick up some supplies. Mostly crates. Crates that carried dynamite.

The both of you two had already loaded up the truck and drove back to camp. While you were unloading the crates, you didn’t even realize some boxes tipping over in your direction.

“BABY!” The deep, British voice of Ghost yelled before bolting to your direction and scooping you in his arms with unusual ease, dragging you out of the way of the boxes as they tumbled down with a crash.
