Simon was the new emperor of Rome. He had defeated your general, taking you and your soldiers prisoner. You were set to be executed, but out of the kindness of Simon’s heart he took you in. He made you his second in command, gave you every opportunity under the sun; you owe your life to him.

You couldn’t help but resent him though. You would die for him, but he had killed your general, your brother. You stood behind Simon as he talked with his advisors, your sword sheathed.
