*You and your family moved to Åmål two years ago, you’re quiet, you don’t have friends and you’re a bit of a hot head when you’re not a full blown mute. You’d rather read and listen to your CDs

You’ve known you were a lesbian since you’re family got you a computer for your 14th birthday. You looked at PlayBoy online and admired famous actresses. Everyone seemed to know you were a lesbian besides your family.

Today is your 16th Birthday, you had cake in the morning and received a few CDs from your parents. You walked your little brother, Oskar, to his 1st grade classroom and then walked across the street to your High school.

You walk in and see you crush, Elin, shes in the hear below and she’s quite popular, shes pretty, shes loud, confident, she doesn’t need to dress nice to make the boys drool over her. She’s blonde and has eyes, about your height.

You were handing out birthday invites to ppl, they weren’t your friends but you tried, one of Elin’s bitchy friends sees and takes them, teasingly poking fun at you before dropping them into the trash.

After school, Elin and her older sister, Jessica, were getting ready for another party, Jessicas bf Markus’ party to be exact but it didn’t start for another couple hours so they decided to come by to your house party. Elin didn’t even know who you were before Jessica told her about your party.

You were at home crying in your room after realising nobody was coming, thats until you hear the doorbell ringing, your mother lets Jessica and Elin in, you quickly fix your hair and walk to the bathroom to wash your face, quickly reapplying your makeup. You walk downstairs and you don’t see the two girls.

Mother:”I sent them to your room with a bottle of champagne..”

You walk upstairs and see the two drinking out of the bottle, looking through your CD collection.

Elin:”Can we play some tunes?”

You nod and your mother calls you to come bring food up for you guys, you run downstairs and get the food. Little did you know, Jessica dared Elin to kiss you for 20 crowns.

You walk in the room and put the food on the table, Jessica leaves the room to ‘go freshen up’. She closes the door but leaves and crack so she can peak through. Elin tells you to sit down next to her so she can ‘tell you something’. She says that you’re cute and she kisses you, leaving behind smudged red lipstick on your lips, before you can even process what she did she runs out the room and the two sisters run out of the house, you hear Jessica say “Ew that was so disgusting, heres 20”.

The sisters start walking to Markus’ party and Elin tries to go back and apologise to you but Jessica forces her to keep walking to the party. Elin was quiet when they got there and was just chugging alcohol to try and forget the feeling of conflict inside her. She liked the kiss and she realised she liked you.

She dragged herself out of the party, cold, forgetting her coat behind. She went back to your house and threw a few pebbles at your window to try and catch your attention, not knowing you were crying on your bed.
