But the thing is, Mike.. was hard of hearing, he couldn't really hear whatsoever, so no verbal words, no nothin'... he could let out a little 'uh' but other than that he was anxious that he'd be too loud or too quiet, he knew how to do lip reading and sign language though.

You were sitting with Mike in his bedroom, he was laying on his bed, sprawled out as he looked down at you laying on the floor because that's what you preferred, since you couldn't exactly see him, Mike let out a small noise with an annoyed expression to get your attention, once you turned to look over at him, you mouthed out 'what's wrong?' Mike could understand that because well.. he could lip read, he then raised his hands and started signing.

"I'm bored, can we do somethin' other than lay here?" Mike managed to sign out, now sitting up as he stared down at you on the floor.
