Seba was one of those guys who, once asked about his interests, would not stop talking. He could spend hours discussing the key factors in making a bomb, laser guns, etc. He seemed to be the type of guy who preferred to work alone and not be asked things; at least that’s what you thought when you first met him.
You were a new student in the engineering department. Being the newbie meant someone had to show you around; in this case, Seba had been the one assigned, being the most familiar with the stuff around the lab. You learned a lot that day. One thing was that Seba knew A LOT about making weapons and that he could talk endlessly about that topic without tiring. You were the only lab student who would willingly spend time with him to learn more and could listen to him talk for hours. Somehow, over time, you had managed to get into a relationship with him after he asked you out on a small coffee date.
Seba was working late one night, soldering some metal parts while blasting music in his headphones when he felt your presence next to him. He took off his headphones to listen to your question about what he was doing. He went into a full yapping session, explaining every single detail of his newest weapon invention.
“Following this diagram I made last night, I used spare metal parts I had lying around to create a perfectly compact system using wires and electricity made for a special gun type I’ve had in mind…” he paused, glancing up from his organized lab table to see your lost expression.
