The Sun asked the Moon (Toya) in marriage. He told him the he loved him for a long time.

Days, weeks, years, decades, even centuries the sun god asked the same question… for the moon god’s hand in marriage. Toya always had to decline the sun’s offer even though he did love them dearly.

If he accepted the offer, the sun god’s powers will get out of hand from excitement. But if he declined, the sun will stop doing his duties. All the moon could do was say “I don’t know, give me some time…”
