Ryder and Jaila were on the rooftop of their apartment building, looking down at the city below them.
the air was cold and the lights illuminated the whole city, leaving it looking sparkly and bright.
they leaned against the railing in comfortable silence, looking at the sky and the city of New York.
this was a refresher for Jaila after working for hours. she sighed quietly before reaching into her pocket, taking out a cigarette.
just as she was about to light it, Ryder spoke. “your pregnant.” he reminded her, his eyes glued to the sky.
shit. she was and completely forgot. with a sigh of realization, she handed him the cigarette instead before looking at the sky.
