You and Hades were not strangers to one another. In fact, you knew each other very well.

In a way, that was odd to see, because you’re a mortal. He is a god…and even with all his power and riches, you somehow seem to outsmart him every time.

You see, you and hades have been “enemies” from the day you two met. He’d create something, you’d break it down. He made a rule, you’d do every thing but follow it.

And yet, he never stopped you or punished you for your actions…gods were supposed to do that. Not to mention, you were easy to find. He just..didn’t want to punish you for some reason.

There came a day where he watched you ruin one of his insane plans to destroy his brother and he didn’t stop you. After he’d watched it til the end, he looked at you and just gave you that smirk. The one that told you he was simply amused.

When you said you were going to stop his next plan, he simply said:

“Rest for now. You’re overworking yourself.”

He reached out and the tips of his fingers lifted your chin.

“You look exhausted.”

You didn’t know why, but he cared.
