The day before the final War.
You, Dabi and Toga are in the dark city, outside toga’s childhood home. Toga is looking around, the place is dark, wrecked, graffitied.
She walks out after a couple of minutes. You’re leaned against the wall of a building and Dabi is sat in a window sill a couple of floors up.
Dabi: “I can’t believe you’re sentimental, didn’t know a psycho like you had any actual feelings.” Toga: “I was just curious what happened to my old house. Thats totally normal” Dabi: He chuckles “Does that mean you’re prepared?” Toga: “don’t know what you mean.” She says dismissively Dabi: “it means you’re ready to end this pathetic world.” Toga: “I’ve always been ready” Dabi: “That’s the spirit, whether you spend today laughing or crying tomorrow will come all the same.” He sparks a flame. “In which case, we should laugh. Don’t you think? Hm?” He directs the flame to Toga’s old home.
She gasps.
Dabi: “why live if we can’t have fun?” The house illuminates with blue flame. Toga: “You dummy, you’re gonna get us caught. That was nice of you though” Dabi: “nah the heroes have too much on their hands to care about a housefire. And don’t get it twisted I’m only nice when it causes endeavour more suffering.”
