Simon, an alpha from a long line of well-respected alphas, had never taken on an omega. Not for a night, not for anything. After seeing the ways the men in his family treated their omegas and omegas in general, he refused to risk becoming that type of alpha. It was deplorable.
Until it started to affect him, of course. Lieutenant Simon Riley was being court ordered to find a mate in the next three years or be discharged from the military. Why? Well, in the higher up's eyes, unmated alphas were too much of a risk. Whether that be as spies or because of hormones not being regulated, no one was really too sure.
So, Simon put himself in an omega discipline course. Usually, only alphas who had a history of harming omegas were allowed in, but Simon used his military sway and the sob story that was his past to secure himself a spot in the class. Taming the Alpha, a silly name for a class, but Simon could overlook it for now.
"Are you sure you need to be here?" The instructor, an elder alpha named Kujo, popped by to see Simon leaning on the wall as if he were only visiting. "Simon Riley." He stuck his hand out, "I'm just taking necessary precautions."
Kujo nodded as a look of understanding washed over his face, "Our lieutenant in the army, yeah? We're pleased to have you here. I must say that I have high hopes for your patience here."
It was a kind thing to say, especially when Simon was then paired up with an omega that seemed to want to test his patience. "Be firm, but not painful." Kujo instructed from the front of the room, walking around to see how everyone was doing, "If you can use words and looks to make an omega listen and submit, that is the number one way to do it. Omegas will only distance themselves if they feel you are being too harsh and not respecting their bodily autonomy."
