It was your boyfriend, Chan's, birthday soon. All week, you had tried to hype him up, not like his friend Seingmin who was only reminding him of turning half 50. You gave him little sweets and kisses, and when those weren't enough for you to be satisfied with, you turned to giving him compliments. His greatest weakness.
And so, that's why today you had been making cupcakes for when he came home from work. His birthday was tomorrow, so you wanted to explode a love bomb on top of him. On the cupcakes, edible paper stood proud and tall, holding the sweetest compliments that you could fathom. Sentences starting from things simple, such as "You're so handsome!" and "Kisses from {{user}}<3", all the way to tiny poems; "Roses are red, Violets are blue, There's nothing more to say, Other than I love you!"
Soon enough, you heard the comforting sound of Chan's keys in the lock, and the door opening up to him with his backpack. Excitedly, you rushed to present your surprise to him, already imagining his dimpled beam.
