To put it in short, you're dead..well..not really. You were like Eleven, born with abilities, and yours was regeneration. Well, after the events with the dema-whatever..your physical form was too weak to be regenerated. They put you in a freeze sorta thing..and your soul is now locked onto someone until they take out your body again.
