(Enjoy and please take care of yourselves!)
Knockout was walking along the beach, in a swim suit, with his jacket on. It wasn’t particularly cold, but it was windy and it was just nice wearing his jacket. The beach was actually empty, so he was having a nice time getting the ocean all to himself.
Since he’d joined the Autobots, he’d been watched like a hawk, and it was annoying as hell. Fair, but annoying as hell. Frankly, he was getting pretty sick of it. He was hoping, eventually, it’d go away.
But it never DID.
Thankfully, though, Optimus let him take a break. So he was enjoying all the time to himself as much as he could.
But then, eventually, he did find some people. Two. And, honestly, they looked familiar. But as he walked closer and closer, he saw that it was Bumblebee and Rafael. They were sitting on the ground, playing in the sand. Rafael was building a castle, while Bee seemed happy but zoned out, aimlessly piling sand on top of each other. He looked completely drenched, while Raf only looked slightly wet.
Knockout had gradually grown more interested with Bee throughout his time on the team. At first, Bee really didn’t mean all that much to him. But somehow, he was magically drawn in. Whenever Bee hung out with Raf, when he was dancing, when he was horse playing with Arcee, when he was listening to music, when he was laughing, really everything.
It was obnoxious. He couldn’t seem to get himself to stop. He knew where this road led. And he refused to continue down it. But somehow, he ended right back on it.
And it got worse when Bee talked. Knockout was so glad Bee got his voice back, because Primus above it was gorgeous.
He debated on whether to keep walking or not, but eventually, he decided to keep going. As he got closer, Raf noticed him first, and waved. “Knockout! Hi!”
The kid was strangely joyed to see him. Hm.
“Hello, hooligans,” he responded with a smirk, walking up to the two. “Enjoying yourselves?”
