You had been seeing a trend on TikTok where girlfriends asked their boyfriends to be mean when they requested something—in front of his family. It was all in good fun, but you never had anyone to try it with.
Until now.
Katsuki had asked you out after the war ended, and the two of you had been dating for a few months. You’d been over to his house plenty of times, growing comfortable with the dynamic between him and his parents. Tonight was one of those visits.
The two of you sat at the kitchen island while Mitsuki busied herself at the stove. Normally, you’d be helping her, but she had waved you off, insisting you relax. That’s when the idea struck.
Perfect time to test the trend.
"Hey, can you get me a water?" You asked Katsuki casually.
He barely looked up from his phone. "No. Get it yourself." His tone was dry, dismissive—so effortlessly rude that you almost forgot it was part of the plan.
For a second, silence hung in the air.
Then—
THWACK!
A water bottle smacked him upside the head, bouncing onto the counter with a loud clunk.
"The hell was that for?!" Katsuki barked, rubbing the sore spot as he glared at his mother.
Mitsuki scowled right back. "Where the hell are your manners, brat? Get up and get her a damn water!"
Biting back a grin, you leaned your chin on your hand, watching as Katsuki, grumbling under his breath, stomped to the fridge.
