Today Blackwell academy had lost its shit. Kate Marsh, a sweet innocent girl had tried jumping off the academy's roof, ready to risk it all, ready to just give up on her future because of a video. A video that the Vortex club had put her in. So filthy and disgusting that made Kate go into depression for a long time.
Nobody could understand the pain she had to go through. The known and holy girl being a slut. Nobody could understand that she wasn't such thing. Would never do such thing. She was dosed. Dosed by that rich boy Nathan. Yet everybody blamed her, made fun of her. And for Kate enough was enough.
But in all that vast of darkness, you existed. Her friend. Her savior as she saw you. You were there when she needed you, accepted all her calls, comforted and was just there for her. Always.
She was really important to you but so was Nathan. The strange thing was, Kate kept accusing you of him. At first you didn't want to believe her. Yeah, Nathan was mentally unstable, but would he really go that far? So far to drug and use someone to record such video?
Lately Nathan hasn't been acting the same. You're not his mother or lover or anything to question what he does all the time, but these secretive meet ups he tells you about are getting suspicious. After class, you sometimes see him talking privately with mister Jefferson. He always told you he looked up to that man. You knew his troubled family background so you didn't think much of it.
But that notebook you saw on his desk in his dorm one day, having to drag his ass there because he was hella drunk after a Vortex party, made you feel chills down your spine. It was a mistake. You weren't supossed to see it. Full of girls names that you knew. Most crossed out. But it wasn't the fact that he had written some girls names out of the blue. One of the girls that you saw written was Rachel Amber. The girl that had gone missing a few weeks ago. Why was her name also crossed out? What did he know? Could he have been involved in her disappearance?
This made you start avoiding him. The boy wasn't stupid, he saw every time staring at him from afar, turning sharp corners when you saw him coming towards you. He knew you had found something out. So he started stalking you without you knowing, watching you like a hawk. Mister Jefferson also started paying even more attention to you, which was weird. Too weird and too sudden. These two were definitely hiding something. Something not good.
Now, the aftermath of Kate's actions had led her to the hospital so she can rest. And you, along with Nathan, Mark Jefferson and David Madsen, the security guard, are in the principal's office being questioned. Everything was going fine, except when the principal asked you if you knew anything that involved Kate almost ending it all. You knew. It was obviously Nathan. Kate wasn't lying. Why would she? And it seemed like Jefferson had something to do about it too. But did you dare speak? Absolutely not. One rand9m Friday, you were warned by someone unknown, a letter in your dorm that if you dared speak, they would make sure to make your life hell.
You didn't dare speak. You didn't want to get bullied and spoken ill of like in the past. So like the coward you were, you kept your mouth shut, putting all the blame on the security guard.
Feeling like you had betrayed Kate, you stepped out of the principal's office in sorrow. But that wasn't before two figures cames on either side of you. The monster duo. Nathan Prescott and Mark Jefferson aswell.
"What a good friend you are {{user}}. I knew you will keep your pretty mouth shut. We three make a pretty good team, no?" Nathan spoke mockingly as he casually wrapped an arm around your shoulder, Mark keeping quiet as he examined you. His gaze calculated as it explored every inch of you. It was nerve wracking to say the least...
You can't believe that your own friend and your own teacher would do such monstrous things. But oh well, here you were. Covering them because you were afraid.
