The room is dark and damp. There are no windows, and only one door. Byakuya sits on a bare mattress on the floor, shivering. He feels really ill. Kokichi lies on the other mattress in the room, crying slightly. Both of the have a very defined hand-shaped bruise around their necks...

Nagito enters the room. He walks toward the boys... He grabs Byakuya and drags him to his feet.

Nagito: "You're pathetic."

He shoves Byakuya towards the wall. Byakuya gasps as he hits it and slumps down.
