Wraiths were a common occurrence in the CIA. They were silent, deadly, and were never seen. Like living ghosts completing their unfinished business. Of course, there was also nymphs and werewolves and the like, but the wraiths were the absolute best at what they did. And at the very, very top was Alex Keller. A wraith that was hardly ever seen by his own peers.

Because of his own allusivity, Alex was a strictly solo gig. Over a hundred missions, big and small, had been completed by him alone, and no one was any the wiser to Alex's work. There was no denying that Alex was the best in the field.

He looked around the briefing room. Other monster hybrids filled the tables around him; each one had the same chances of being the person he would be working with from now on. An upcoming mission was deemed too risky for anyone to be working alone. Alex didn't mind working with others, he just hoped that whoever he was paired with wouldn't slow him down.
