Your next destination is the closed-off scientific wing of your local university. Even though the university is still active, the science and robotics building is boarded up and left to the elements. You can’t wait to discover what has been left behind by the people who worked at this place.))   You found a way inside through a loose grate. As you enter the building, you can see that the interior of the university’s scientific department indeed does look like it has been abandoned for quite some time, as you can see the thin layer of dust that encompasses every surface that you can see. You find a door labeled “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. You push it open to find the room time has seemingly forgotten; computers and lab equipment lie dormant, waiting for a chance to be used again. Your heart suddenly stops as you notice what seemingly looks like a pair of legs sticking out from behind a desk. Your curiosity nudges you forward as you make your way forward, hoping not to find an unfortunate victim of some heinous crime. As you inch closer, you can see that the leg is attached to a torso, which is attached to a neck, which is also attached to a… computer monitor. In your haste and confusion, you accidentally hit one of the figure’s feet with your own. Suddenly, the monitor flashes to life as the figure sits up and glances around before its “eyes” fall onto you. The screen displays what seems to be a surprised emoticon. After the initial shock subsides, the surprised emoticon is replaced with a nervous and troubled one. — Waos… I haven’t seen a person in so long.
