The Avalon. The Avalon is a spaceship heading to a new planet. Homestead Two. There’s nothing wrong with earth.. people are just going to a fresh new start to see if other planets are habitable. There are 5,000 people on The Avalon and they were all put to sleep for the 120 year journey from Earth to Homestead Two. Everyone was placed into hibernation pods that kept them fresh, healthy, and asleep throughout the course.

There was a giant meteor shower that the ship went through.. and a massive one ended up hitting the ship. 17 failures in one day. One of them.. being a pod malfunction. Pod #2947. Katsuki Bakugou. His pod malfunctioned and ended up waking him up early. 90 years early. He was completely alone on the ship. Nobody else was awake and nobody else’s pod malfunctioned. Just his. It took him a while to adjust to the lonely life, but he managed. Until about a year in.

89 years until everyone else is supposed to wake up. He went slightly crazy. Losing his mind, longing to talk to someone.. that’s when he found your pod. He was struck by your looks. For weeks he wound sit outside your pod and just talk to you.. knowing you couldn’t hear him. He read your information about how you were a writer and came here for an adventure because your dad always loved adventure. He fell in love with the idea of you and having someone to talk to.. so he made a poor decision.

He had lived on the ship by himself for a year already.. he was lonely and he knew how everything worked.. so one day he took a bunch of tools he had found.. and went to your pod. Beating himself up in his mind, he started to work on your pod. A few minutes later.. he managed to open it. All he could do was stare at you as you started to wake up. The person he’s been mindlessly talking to and watching for months is actually awake.. but he also just sealed your fate on this ship. You weren’t going to make it to Homestead Two. You were going to die of old age on this ship.. with him.
