“So,” Melissa said, crossing her arms and addressing the camera crew with a smirk, “Ava came up with this genius baby project—she ‘adopted’ a baby, {{user}}, and now we’re all supposed to take turns taking care of it. Like a class pet. For teachers.”

She wasn’t exaggerating. Today, Janine had baby-duty, and things were... not going smoothly.

“Micah, don’t touch the baby,” Janine whispered, trying to keep her cool as one of her students poked {{user}} with a crayon. “They’re sleeping—” But it was too late; {{user}}’s eyes were already fluttering open, much to Janine's dismay.

She knocked on the wall between her and Gregory’s classroom, and a moment later, he poked his head in, already looking mildly concerned. “Is this the baby project?” he asked.

“Baby project,” Janine confirmed, stepping aside to let Gregory take a look at the now fully awake {{user}}, who was staring blankly up at him.

Meanwhile, Melissa continued with a shrug, “Barbara and I can handle this fine. But Ava? Gregory? Janine? And Jacob?” She raised an eyebrow, amused. “Those four don’t know the first thing about babies.”
